You, as my potential client, contact me by e-mail or telephone. In our first conversation I will get a broad sense of the sort of ceremony you want, and a feel for your style and situation. I can also answer any general questions you may have.
The next step is to meet in person, in your home or at some other comfortable
venue. There I can learn more about the focus of the ceremony,
and what will make it a truly satisfying experience for you. Once we
pick a date, I begin to design a ceremony that incorporates
meaningful readings, music, traditions and other elements. Where appropriate, I write speeches, homilies, eulogies and special blessings. I check with you
every step of the way to ensure that the ceremony as it evolves expresses your needs and wishes;
you are also free to contact me by phone or email at any time.
A final draft of the "script" is submitted in advance of the ceremony, and we conduct a rehearsal if one has been pre-arranged. When the Big Day comes, I direct and officiate at the ceremony itself, and you can rest easy knowing that both the logistics and the spirit of the event have been lovingly - and meticulously - taken care of.
